This presentation will start by exploring Native American land acknowledgements and the cultural importance of monuments to different cultures. We will learn about the land we live and work on as well as an overview of representation. After a brief presentation, participants will engage in a facilitated, reflective conversation about the presentation where they will be able to learn from each other’s lived experience and ask questions.

Free, RVSP: through OLLI

Boxed Expression Art Activity

Participants will be provided with a small box. They can embellish their box with drawn, painted, and collaged materials. What would you put into this box? What would you create on the outside of the box? They can be a way to express something personal about the creator.
