K-12 School Tours
We are pleased to offer experiential learning opportunities for all grades, including college level, related to a broad spectrum of coursework.
Education experiences for K-12 and Youth Groups are approximately two hours and include the Main Exhibit Gallery, Sculptor’s Studio, temporary exhibitions, and an optional art activity. Museum tours meet the Michigan Content Expectations.
School groups, including chaperones and teachers, are free. School tours also include a free educational art activity. Grades K-6 must have one adult for every 5 students; grades 7-12 must have one chaperone for every 10 students.
Accentuate your college curriculum or program by scheduling a visit to the Museum. Professors can bring their own assignment or receive a guided tour for their class.
There is no cost for SVSU college tours and programs.
Please schedule tours at least 4 weeks in advance. Up to 60 persons can be accepted for a tour. You may make a reservation for your group by:
